About The Position

Western Mass Endodontics P.C. (d/b/a Affinity Dental Services) is seeking an Associate Doctor (General Dentistry) to provide comprehensive oral healthcare for patients. This role involves maintaining dental records, leading the dental team, and providing guidance to dental assistants, hygienists, and other support personnel. The Associate Doctor will also manage the clinical dental team, train new members, and oversee financial aspects of the practice, including monitoring production, collections, budgets, and financial reports. Collaboration and support for less-experienced team members are also key components of this position.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from a dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
• NYSED Dentist license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral healthcare for patients.
• Maintain dental records and lead the dental team in patient care.
• Provide guidance and direction to dental assistants, hygienists, and other support personnel.
• Manage clinical dental team and train new team members, such as dental assistants.
• Provide financial management services, including monitoring monthly productions and collections.
• Review monthly budgets and financial reports with team members to assess revenue trends and costs.
• Support and collaborate with less-experienced dental team members to review completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Perform additional duties, as assigned.
