About The Position

Benevis is considering dental students graduating in May, June, or July 2027 for Associate Dentist roles in the Atlanta metro area, with offices in Decatur, Forest Park, College Park, Smyrna, and Buckhead. The position is intended for those graduates; applicants who earned their degree before May 2027 may apply directly to other open roles. Benevis provides dental care to underserved families and seeks dentists to deliver quality care to children and adults in a compassionate, team-oriented setting. Children make up 70% or more of the patient base. The opportunity includes mentoring and collaboration, multiple schedule options, and potential for growth and development. Associate Dentists provide dental services to patients with team support. The practice uses DentaPro software, digital X-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces. Typical staffing per provider includes one hygienist, one hygiene assistant, and two dental assistants. The patient base is primarily ages 3–21, with up to 30% adults depending on location. Office flow averages 10–12 operative patients and 20–25 hygiene patients. The payor mix includes state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors. Work takes place in a professional office, clinical, or support environment depending on the role and business needs. Extended or alternate hours may be required during peak periods or to support operations; scheduled hours and work location may vary based on business needs.
