About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Demand Forecaster & Modeling (BGS-G SC) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. This role involves performing routine inventory procedures, analyzing postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities, and applying critical thinking and innovative problem-solving. The position champions a culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative energy, while assessing the performance of models and analysis to ensure business objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to thrive in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment, and will build and manage data sets/modeling records to run models and simulations. This role also identifies process and system improvements and supports business decisions by gathering, cleaning, verifying, and analyzing data to develop and manage multiple data sets. Responsibilities include running demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models, and logistics simulations on complex projects, as well as analyzing, manipulating, updating, and optimizing models to estimate resource needs and identify process and system improvements. The role also assesses supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time. This position must meet export control compliance requirements, requiring a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Data analytics.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality deliveries.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering.
  • Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience.
