Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Demand Forecaster & Modeling to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. This position involves performing or maintaining routine inventory procedures and assisting in analyzing postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities. The role requires critical thinking and innovative problem solving, championing a culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative energy. The successful candidate will assess the performance of models and analysis, adapt to a fast-paced environment, build and manage data sets for models and simulations, identify process and system improvements, and run various forecasting and logistics simulations on complex projects. They will also analyze, manipulate, update, and optimize models to estimate resource needs and improve supply chain practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Data analytics
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality deliveries
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements, requiring a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15

  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL)
  • Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering
  • Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience

  • Uses models to estimate resource needs
  • Uses tools, models and simulations to identify process and system improvements
  • Assesses supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time
