About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business is looking for an Associate Demand Planner (Level 2) to join our team in Hialeah, FL. The Associate Demand Planner assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities. Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders. Processes material returned from customers. Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance. Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of experience in an analyst role
  • Previous experience in Demand/Supply planning, inventory management, forecasting or supply chain operations
  • Strong ability to analyze large data sets to recognize demand patterns and the use of statistical methods for forecasting using Excel, Access, SQL, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Planning tools such as SPM, SAP, Blue Yonder
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (Product Line, Supplier Management, and Sales)
  • Ability to identify and address inconsistencies in data and work through potential solutions
  • Strong presentation skills, communication skills (written/oral)

Responsibilities

  • Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.
  • Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
  • Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews.
  • Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
  • Prepares and analyzes complex data to develop and manage multiple data sets to run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects.
  • Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance business processes.
  • Owns planning performance for assigned programs, identifies risks, and drives cross-functional mitigation plans
  • Owns execution of planning cadence and reporting for assigned customers/programs
  • Conducts periodic performance reports at various levels of aggregation; understands data and is able to analyze possible risks and trends; distributes to stakeholders to influence decision making.
  • Establishes priorities and meet deadlines and drives data projects by gathering requirements from internal stakeholders, ensures that requirements are in line with overall objectives
  • Designs, constructs, documents, and maintains ad hoc reports.
  • Conducts analysis and makes recommendations based on analysis where necessary.
  • Recommends and executes enhancements for reporting based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
