The Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) is seeking an Associate Dean for Academic Programs to provide college-wide leadership for undergraduate and graduate academic programs within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). This role reports to the Dean of CALS and involves collaboration with administrators, faculty, staff, and students to enhance and coordinate academic offerings. The current opening focuses on leadership in online and distance education, teaching and professional development, and undergraduate support services, including UF Online programs, self-funded certificates and degrees, and international activities. The position also plays a key role in faculty professional development and supporting undergraduate research initiatives. The Associate Dean will represent the Dean at various functions and is expected to be supportive of IFAS's three mission areas: Research, Teaching, and Extension.
