The Associate Dean, Academic Affairs will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of an integrated, competency-based pre-clerkship curriculum grounded in osteopathic philosophy. This role ensures vertical and horizontal integration across the UME continuum, advances innovative educational strategies, and monitors national trends to meet evolving healthcare and educational needs. The position also oversees program evaluation, student assessment, student success initiatives, accreditation efforts, faculty leadership and development, and academic operations for pre-clerkship education. The Associate Dean serves as a key member of the college leadership team, promoting interprofessional education, external partnerships, and a culture of inclusion and excellence.
