About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting the Deal Hub team for the design, analysis, and project management of large commercial deal strategies and structures for top health systems and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) across North America. The Associate Deal Manager will collaborate with marketing to create new offerings, identify key learnings to streamline sales support processes, and support the Sales team in developing the deal funnel and increasing win rates while ensuring compliance with all requirements. The position is located within the Enterprise Corporate Accounts (ECA) group, a specialized team focused on enterprise commercial strategy and deal execution for Baxter’s top IDNs in the U.S. The role involves owning defined workstreams within standard deal opportunities, applying established frameworks, and contributing solutions to strengthen deal strategy and execution. Project management of deal opportunities and workstreams, including meeting coordination, timeline management, action tracking, and stakeholder follow-up, is a key responsibility. The role requires partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracting, Operations, and Business Leadership to gather inputs, reconcile priorities, and align recommendations. The Associate Deal Manager will manage and apply deal frameworks and analytics for pricing strategy, return on investment, fleet assessment, and technology replacement plans. Preparation of high-quality, leadership-ready materials such as customer value propositions, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses is also expected. Ensuring timely and accurate completion of customer and internal deliverables in alignment with Baxter policies and procedures is crucial. The role will also support commercial enablement initiatives to improve tools and workflows, co-design and advance the ECA knowledge management system, and contribute to performance visibility and continuous improvement through metrics reporting and process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in medical technology, healthcare, or a related commercial environment, with exposure to pricing, sales, contracting, commercial enablement, deal strategy, and customer-facing business support.
  • Experience supporting large contracts, enterprise customers, or commercial opportunities, preferably involving multiple stakeholders, business units, or customer priorities.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, organize inputs, drive follow-up, and keep workstreams moving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, connect insights, and contribute to practical commercial solutions that balance customer needs, business objectives, and operational feasibility.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to think beyond standard approaches, simplify complexity, connect dots across teams, and bring order to ambiguity when the path forward is not obvious.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust across functions, navigate competing priorities, and maintain productive relationships in fast-moving commercial discussions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, with demonstrated analytical capability to manage deal models, interpret data, create polished presentations, develop clear written materials, and coordinate communications effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the Deal Hub team within Enterprise Corporate Accounts (ECA), a specialized group of Solutions Architects supporting enterprise commercial strategy and deal execution for Baxter’s top IDNs across the U.S.
  • Own defined workstreams within standard deal opportunities, applying established frameworks and contributing solutions that strengthen deal strategy, execution quality, and customer-facing deliverables.
  • Project manage defined deal opportunities and workstreams, including meeting coordination, timeline management, action tracking, stakeholder follow-up, and alignment of inputs from cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracting, Operations, and Business Leadership to gather inputs, reconcile priorities, align recommendations, and support key commercial workstreams.
  • Manage and apply defined deal frameworks and analytics that inform pricing strategy, return on investment, fleet assessment recommendations, and technology replacement plans, while contributing ideas that strengthen commercial insights and decision-making.
  • Prepare and refine high-quality, leadership-ready materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency, including customer value propositions, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses, as well as select ECA updates and communications.
  • Ensure customer and internal deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with Baxter policies, procedures, pricing standards, and governance requirements.
  • Support select commercial enablement initiatives that improve tools, workflows, and reporting to help Deal Hub and ECA execute with greater speed, consistency, and scale.
  • Partner with the Director, Deal Hub to co-design, advance, and curate the ECA knowledge management system, including file structure, key resources, best practices, prior deal examples, and team communications.
  • Support Deal Hub performance visibility and continuous improvement by contributing to metrics reporting, process enhancements, sales team coordination, and insights related to funnel, win rate, deal velocity, and commercial execution.
