The Associate Data Scientist Co-op will work closely with the R&D team to explore the potential of utilizing data for intelligent algorithms for healthcare. We do Machine learning and data science, and use Data engineering, DevOps, and good software engineering methods for designing great products.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in Transformers, LLM, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of Machine learning is a requirement for this role—the ability to understand the ML algorithms and implement them / use the ML state-of-the-art techniques for solving our day-to-day problems.
  • Master's or PhD students with the skillset

Nice To Haves

  • A deep understanding of ML techniques and ML platforms is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Data Engineering, Big Data, cloud, Kubernetes, etc, would be helpful.
  • Knowledge in DevOps, MLops, Kubernetes, Docker, containers, CI/CD, Azure, or related cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge in the DevOps/ microservices area is good to have but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge in Transformers, LLM, and related technologies

  • Knowledge in DevOps, MLops, Kubernetes, Docker, containers, CI/CD, Azure, or related cloud technologies.
  • Literature review on the state-of-the-art techniques and algorithms on retina image analysis for disease detection and screening.
  • Experiment and build algorithm prototypes using the above data for potential applications.
  • Able to write code/scripts in Python (preferably), or any other programming languages, like Java, C#, etc.
  • Perform Data analytics on the existing data collections for different application needs.
  • Collect Data further as needed and organize the data for future easy use.
  • Document all the work and document the data sets.
  • Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively with team members.
