About The Position

As an entry level role, the Associate is responsible for working with the strategy team in the development and execution of media plans. In this position, you will assist in gathering and preparing information for media plan development, plan stewardship and performance reporting. As part of a centralized team, you will work closely with planners, buyers, and cross-functional teams in onshore markets to support the planning, documentation, and execution of media campaigns. Successfully maintains and updates flowcharts and planning documentation within client-specified tools (e.g., Plan It, MediaTools), ensuring accurate data entry, taxonomy coding, and campaign details, with minimal errors in at least 90% of deliverables over a three-month period. Assists planners and managers in developing media plans, presentations, and planning materials while supporting guidance around channel usage that aligns to the communications strategy and audience approach, including audience mapping, content genres, tactical recommendations, format considerations, and partner selections. Collaborates cross-functionally with planning, investment, activation, Ad Operations, analytics, and account teams to support campaign execution and serves as a key point of contact for associate-level partners on activation teams. Participates in internal meetings and planning discussions, providing documentation support, research insights, and timely follow-up on key action items. Gathers and analyzes data from syndicated research and planning tools, including GWI, Comscore, and Omni, demonstrating an understanding of audience behaviors and consumer habits that inform media planning decisions. Supports the team in competitive and ad hoc desk research, synthesizing findings into high-level, client-facing presentations and recommendations. Demonstrates proficiency in media planning and measurement by successfully pulling media consumption indices for designated audiences at least twice and running delivery metrics, including reach and frequency analyses, on a minimum of two plans, as assessed by a Manager or Associate Director. Actively leverages Omni and demonstrates a clear understanding of its core benefits and applications for clients.

Requirements

  • A full-time graduate degree
  • 3 – 6 years of experience in media planning across channels, marketing analytics or campaign operations (agency experience preferred)
  • Basic understanding of marketing channels such as TV, OOH, Print, Radio, along with expertise in Digital media planning
  • Familiarity with media planning tools and syndicated research platforms such as GWI, ComScore, Vivvix, Prisma and Mbox.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work with large datasets
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
