About The Position

Revu Healthcare is seeking an experienced Credentialing Consultant to support two active credentialing projects for two separate healthcare clients. We are looking for someone who can begin as soon as possible and confidently manage credentialing activities across multiple payers, providers, and organizations. The ideal consultant is highly organized, proactive with follow-up, and experienced in navigating payer-specific credentialing and enrollment requirements from initial submission through approval.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on provider and/or organizational credentialing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience credentialing with multiple healthcare payers.
  • Strong understanding of payer credentialing, provider enrollment, recredentialing, and application follow-up processes.
  • Experience managing multiple credentialing applications and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently in a consultant capacity while meeting established project deadlines.
  • Availability to support two active credentialing projects concurrently.
  • Ability to start as soon as possible.

Nice To Haves

  • Medicaid credentialing and enrollment experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience credentialing both individual providers and healthcare organizations/groups.
  • Experience working across multiple states, payer types, and provider specialties is a plus.
  • Familiarity with common credentialing and enrollment platforms and payer portals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage credentialing and enrollment activities for two concurrent client projects.
  • Complete and submit credentialing applications for individual providers and healthcare organizations.
  • Coordinate enrollment and credentialing with a variety of commercial and government payers.
  • Review applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
  • Track application status, outstanding requirements, effective dates, and payer communications.
  • Conduct timely follow-up with payers to move applications through the credentialing process.
  • Identify and resolve application deficiencies, enrollment issues, and payer requests for additional information.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of credentialing activity and project status.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Revu Healthcare team and escalate barriers that could impact project timelines.
