About The Position

Blukers is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support the company’s growing legal and business operations. This role is ideal for an early-career attorney who is comfortable handling contracts, employment-related matters, compliance, and general corporate legal issues. The Associate Corporate Counsel will work closely with leadership, Human Resources, and other departments to identify risks and provide practical legal guidance.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Texas Bar license or ability to obtain Texas admission within a reasonable period.
  • Experience drafting or reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to provide practical recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior in-house or corporate legal experience.
  • Experience with employment law, workplace compliance, SaaS/technology agreements, or corporate governance.
  • Experience working directly with executives, HR, or business teams.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, service, consulting, NDA, SaaS, and technology agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on day-to-day corporate, commercial, employment, and operational matters.
  • Support Human Resources with policies, employee agreements, workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, and terminations.
  • Assist with corporate governance, entity records, resolutions, and filings.
  • Research applicable employment, business, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify legal risks and provide clear, practical recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist with disputes, claims, compliance matters, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized legal support is needed.
  • Maintain legal records, contracts, policies, and corporate documentation.
