About The Position
This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies. The Associate will review documentation, collect and maintain CI records, gather data on current processes, and support production lines in achieving their goals. A key aspect of the role is identifying and eliminating waste within processes and collaborating with the operations team to establish work standards.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge in SQL coding, Tableau, and Lean Six Sigma.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing strategies for the implementation of CI.
- Review documentation related to policies, procedures, and standard work.
- Collect and maintain CI records for the work area, including recording scores, creating action lists, participating as necessary, and investigating and documenting issues.
- Collect data about current processes, flows, and improvement opportunities.
- Support production lines in meeting desired production goals on time and on budget.
- Identify waste in processes and work to remove it.
- Work closely with the operations team to establish work standards.
