They are seeking a consultant to help design, configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service. The Federal Consulting team is dedicated to shaping electronic health records systems for active-duty service members, their beneficiaries, Veterans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives. An Associate Consultant is a professional with an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. This role operates independently to provide quality work products, performs varied and complex duties requiring independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology, and applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. They demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements, may act as a team lead, consult with customer management, participate in business development activities, and develop/configure detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen (due to client contract).
  • 0-2 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health Millennium solutions.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, activate and support the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs and Indian Health Service.
  • Operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
  • Perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.
  • Apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
  • Demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
  • May act as the team lead on projects.
  • Effectively consult with management of customer organizations.
  • Participate in business development activities.
  • Develop and configure detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
