Inspiration Mobility Group•Washington, DC
•$80,000 - $90,000•Hybrid

About The Position

As one of the first two members of Inspiration's emerging Professional Services practice, this role will initially function as an internal consultant. The focus will be on partnering with product, engineering, and operations teams to identify, develop, and implement AI-driven process automation across the business. As the Professional Services practice expands to serve external clients, the role will evolve to translate internally developed solutions into consulting engagements and delivery frameworks for these clients.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a professional services, management consulting, business operations, or similar client- or stakeholder-facing role.
  • Demonstrated Project management Skills and able to navigate various tools.
  • Highly proficient with AI tools (e.g., LLM-based assistants, automation platforms like Zapier or Make, low-code workflow tools) and have used them to actually solve problems, not just experiment.
  • Ability to map a messy, real-world process and identify where automation or AI can add value.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy building structure, templates, playbooks, and processes, where none exists yet.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, and vice versa.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple small projects at once without dropping the ball.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to help build a new practice from the ground up.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, energy, or enterprise SaaS is a meaningful plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across the business to map current workflows and identify where AI and automation can reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
  • Build, test, and roll out AI-powered tools, automations, and integrations using platforms such as LLM-based assistants, workflow automation tools, and low-code platforms.
  • Document new processes, playbooks, and quick-reference guides so automations are adopted correctly and maintained over time.
  • Support pilots of new AI tools and platforms, gathering feedback from users and iterating quickly.
  • Track and report on the time and cost savings created by automation and process improvement projects.
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for automated workflows already in production.
  • Help build repeatable delivery methods, templates, and engagement materials the Professional Services team will use with external customers.
  • Support the scoping and delivery of early client-facing engagements as the practice launches, including process assessments and implementation support.
  • Assist with client discovery, documentation, and status reporting during consulting engagements.
  • Contribute to case studies and an internal knowledge base that capture lessons learned across projects.

Benefits

  • Autonomy to take ownership, move quickly, and turn ideas into action.
  • Leadership that values pragmatism, creativity, and momentum.
  • Clear accountability, low ego, and learning as we go.
  • Opportunity to shape how the company operates, scales, and wins.
  • Work that has a meaningful impact on the future of mobility.
  • Equal opportunity employer.
  • Commitment to DEIB initiatives and building a diverse team.
