About The Position

The Compliance Associate Analyst is responsible for daily involvement and coordination of specific compliance functions within the Compliance Department. This role involves working towards becoming a subject matter expert in assigned areas, communicating company expectations, and assisting with meeting statutory obligations. The analyst will maintain and distribute business processes and procedures, monitor new laws and regulations, and develop measures for internal and external compliance. They will also assist in audits, research, and special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work towards becoming a subject matter expert in assigned areas of responsibility.
• Communicate company expectations to internal and external customers relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Assist with meeting statutory obligations within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Maintain and distribute business processes and procedures within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Assist in monitoring new laws or promulgated regulations related to areas of responsibility.
• Develop and implement appropriate measures of internal and external compliance within areas of responsibility.
• Assist in audits, research, and special projects, as needed.
• Develop research and analysis skills regarding changes in insurance regulations, new and existing products, and new and existing customers.
• Assist with the development of processes necessary for the company, internal, and external customers to remain compliant with regulatory compliance requirements.
• Utilize Guru and other internal procedures to find answers.
• Familiar with the rhythm of the team, assisting with first-level research and analysis work.
• Participate in the Hunt Group (answering phone calls and managing incoming email inquiries) as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
