The duties include, programming for inbound files from clients in a HP-UX Informix/Cobol environment, analyzing and diagnosing issues with files sent by clients daily. Handling data file conversions using third party ETL software. Coordinating projects.

Requirements

College degree preferred, high school diploma required.
At least 4 years in QA and/or programming
Programming languages – Cobol, Informix ISQL/4GL or ETL Tools a plus
Operating systems and scripting - vi, HPUX/UNIX, Shell scripting, Linux, .NET
Knowledge of SQL and database/file structures
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail oriented
Must be authorized to work in the U.S., and not require sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Analyze and Diagnose issues with Loans Files sent from Clients Daily.
Assist is submission of Account Loan Files to Operations Daily.
Design and implement application system changes and enhancements to the Loan File Application (ETL).
Perform multiple, concurrent projects; help set priorities; report status – currently production and test environments operate in a HP-UX Informix/Cobol and Linux environment.
Communicate with clients on questions, clarification, issues, follow up and resolution of issues.
Set up new clients in the test and live systems.
Handle insurance conversion files for new accounts
Complete application system changes for new and existing clients in third party data conversion software.
