About The Position
First American's GO Title division provides global title and escrow production support across First American Title channels, including Mortgage Services, Commercial, Direct, and Agency. This is an entry-level role examining titles to determine the legal condition of primarily commercial or industrial property titles. The position works under the guidance of experienced team members on projects that are typically routine and have shorter production times. The role is remote and focuses on Wisconsin orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Perform title examination and examine the chain of title for orders within Wisconsin.
- Prepare initial title commitment documentation based on the application of procedural guidelines.
- Search public records and examine titles to determine the legal condition of primarily commercial or industrial property title.
- Copy or summarize recorded documents that affect the condition of title to the property.
- May abstract records for residential properties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
