About The Position

NIQ is seeking an Associate Client Director to join their Customer Success team. This role involves serving as a trusted partner, delivering compelling and action-oriented analysis to a major retail client account. The position requires a strong understanding of the retail value chain, the ability to build client relationships, and deliver insights that spark important conversations. The Associate Client Director will also lead a team of Client Managers, ACMs, and Analysts, guiding them in using NIQ tools and services to provide clients with industry, market, and consumer insights for informed business decisions. Additionally, this role is accountable for driving the CS Industry Insights mission and achieving team KPIs.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, and market research
  • Strong analytical mind, storytelling capability, excellent numerical skills, and ability to identify recommendations to drive client strategy
  • Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all NIQ data sources that are relevant to the client(s) – i.e. RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptable and polished in diverse settings
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • A team‑oriented, detail‑focused mindset paired with strong project management capabilities.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
  • BA/BS required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with NielsenIQ (or similar) solutions preferred in the analytics space, including POS/Panel data
  • Master's degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own CS Industry Insights mission for his/ her team through the delivery of Insights, Analysis, and Thought Leadership
  • Maintain and build productive business relationships with key client contacts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Align with account teams to advance account strategy and commercial objectives
  • Drive customer satisfaction, ensuring the team delivers the best-in-class analyses and relevant and impactful insights
  • Be a bilingual (CPS+RMS) team leader/strategist: Demonstrate an everyday Consumer- driven marketing culture
  • Probe and provoke clients to more business questions to analyze consumer behavior
  • Generate Leads (upsell contracts, ad-hoc, CAS)
  • Continuously guide and coach the team in utilizing and visualizing the most relevant data for developing strategically impactful presentations full of insights and proactive recommendations
  • Oversee delivery quality and adherence to SLAs
