Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working across a variety of software platforms including databases, email, and presentation tools
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare operations standards, methods, and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws applicable to healthcare operations
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare environment required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or similarly regulated setting required.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a best-in-class patient experience by implementing proven practices and responding proactively to patient feedback
  • Optimize appointment slot utilization to maximize patient access, minimize wait times, and drive operational efficiency
  • Maintain the right balance of slot quality and availability to meet the unique needs of our senior patient population
  • Ensure the care team is consistently available, accessible, and responsive, removing every barrier that stands between a patient and their care
  • Monitor and actively manage patient disenrollment rates, identifying root causes and executing retention strategies
  • Identify and coordinate care for orphan patients (those without an assigned primary care provider) to ensure no patient falls through the cracks
  • Build and sustain a positive, collaborative center culture where every team member feels valued, engaged, and motivated
  • Design and lead initiatives that boost staff morale, strengthen team cohesion, and inspire long-term commitment
  • Be a visible, accessible, and inspiring leader who brings out the best in the people around you
  • Develop and execute smart workforce planning strategies to ensure your center is always appropriately staffed to meet patient demand
  • Lead a best-in-class onboarding experience for new team members, setting them up for success from day one with comprehensive training and strong support systems
  • Implement meaningful retention strategies that reduce turnover and create clear pathways for career growth within ChenMed
  • Serve as the primary leader for all daily center operations, including direct supervision of center staff
  • Ensure the needs of physicians, clinicians, care teams, patients, and visitors are consistently met with excellence
  • Partner closely with your Center Medical Director to align operational and clinical priorities
