About The Position

AMR is hiring full-time Dispatchers to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for ambulance and transportation services. The role assigns and routes transportation requests and communicates clearly in all situations to support quality service and care for customers, providers, facilities, and member representatives.

Dispatchers monitor and respond to calls and emails using established call-handling timelines and communication and information management systems. They schedule, assign, review, and route transportation requests; document communications according to protocols; escalate issues when appropriate; and communicate trip information such as confirmations, routing times, issues, and performance. The position involves working professionally and collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and coworkers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Some work experience.
• Organization, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in all situations.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience in dispatch or routing calls in customer service is preferred.
