About The Position

Mohr Partners’ Chicago team is seeking an Industrial Real Estate Broker to help source and win new business at the local and national levels and assist with existing clients. The team represents national industrial and office tenants across their portfolios and exclusively represents tenants, offering clients a conflict-free perspective. The Chicago team has more than 45 years of combined experience and was named “Office of the Year.”

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
• At least 2 years of work experience.
• A real estate salesperson license is required for hire.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to present information effectively and confidence speaking in front of groups.
• Knowledge of financial terms and principles.

Nice To Haves

• Real estate salesperson license preferred.
• Freight brokerage or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and expanding business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling Mohr Corporate services to current clients.
• Learn the Mohr Partners model and develop sales pitches for cold calls and emails.
• Create lists of prospective clients using multiple databases.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in company databases.
• Provide tenants with information about leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values.
• Compile client property data, including tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, and status updates.
• Analyze data and prepare real estate reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons.
• Gather and organize transaction materials, such as commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements.
• Participate in and shadow senior brokers during contract negotiations and due diligence.
