Brand strategy is a discipline within Lippincott's Strategy practice, and it starts with some of the hardest questions a company can ask: what do we actually stand for, and why should anyone care? But meaning only counts when it's built, requiring brand strategists to work at the highest altitude and the finest detail, shaping the argument for a company's place in the world, then following it down into the words, structures, and signature moments that make it real. Done well, a brand isn't just an idea a company holds, but an asset that wins customers, commands premiums, and compounds in value over time. As an Associate, you own the ground between rigor and recommendation. The team looks to you to make sense of complex inputs—research, market trends, client history—and turn them into hypotheses worth building on, from breakthrough brand ideas to elegant architecture models. You’ll run the day-to-day of a workstream: managing the plan, shaping content, and bridging input from design and experience colleagues into one coherent strategic answer. And as the connector between strategy and those disciplines, you’ll build real fluency across every facet of brand—a breadth of expertise that’s hard to find at this stage of your career. You’ll also start to manage people, guiding junior team members as they develop in their own.
