About The Position

KENT WORLDWIDE™ is seeking an Associate Brand Manager (ABM) Intern to join our Consumer Brands team for Summer 2027! This MBA-level internship offers hands-on experience connecting the full consumer journey with the shopper path to purchase, both in-store and online. You’ll use data-driven insights to uncover opportunities, improve the customer experience, and help drive growth across our pet care brands. This opportunity is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and brand management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine a detailed shopper journey map across the litter category.
• Conduct store visits and leverage market data to identify growth opportunities and make recommendations to address them.
• Leverage consumer research, social listening tools, etc, to identify patterns, insights, needs, and lead creation of ideas (Product, claims, messaging, etc) to address them.
• Partner with marketing, sales and corporate market research teams to ensure an integrated recommendation.
• Synthesize complex findings into a compelling story.
• Understand the competition and how it relates to the shopper journey and our unique brand position in the category.
• Deliver recommendations across innovation, packaging, claims, messaging, digital content and retailer execution.
