About The Position

The Associate, Bilingual Client Services Representative serves international (non-U.S. resident) and domestic clients with a full range of service and trading needs. In a collaborative, fast-paced environment, the representative assists clients with trading stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and options, as well as general account service inquiries. The role also includes translating documents for internal partners and providing service to clients in a foreign language as needed. The position is eligible for a bonus and language incentive opportunities.

Requirements

In addition to English, be able to read, write, and speak Mandarin or Cantonese.
Hold Series 7 and 63 licenses, or successfully obtain them within the allotted training time as a condition of employment.
Have well-developed and effective verbal and written communication skills to establish trust and rapport with clients.
Be available to work a structured schedule and adhere to assigned hours, including lunch and break times determined by business needs.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a high level of integrity and ethics.
Be willing and eager to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of college study in finance, economics, business administration, or a related area; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in financial services.
At least one year of experience working with clients through phone, chat, or email.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of investment products and the ability to explain complex subjects by phone.
Ability to quickly identify client needs, respond with empathy and compassion, and use sound judgment to take actions that achieve client objectives by phone, chat, or email.
Flexibility to work across email, chat, and phone channels as business needs change.
High flexibility in shift times, especially early mornings, as business needs require.
