About The Position

As an Associate Banker at Chase, you represent the company’s brand and culture by providing welcoming, attentive service and using banking solutions and financial technology to create positive client experiences. You contribute to branch success by building trusted relationships, sharing product knowledge and solutions, and helping clients work toward their financial goals.

The position is part-time for 30 hours at the Roxbury Branch in Ledgewood, New Jersey. It includes welcoming clients, assisting with account services and new accounts, helping clients with everyday transactions and digital banking tools, and performing branch operations while following applicable policies and regulatory requirements.

• Client service experience or comparable experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, create a welcoming environment, manage lobby traffic and the waiting queue using a tablet, and schedule or cancel client meetings.
• Provide account servicing and maintenance and open new accounts in compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and banking requirements.
• Educate and assist clients with day-to-day transactions and self-service technology, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Listen to clients, ask thoughtful questions, demonstrate empathy, and share product knowledge and solutions, partnering with branch team members to help clients achieve their financial goals.
• Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM, while following bank policies and procedures.
