Associate Banker, 30 Hours, Laguna Beach Area - Multiple locations
About The Position
As an Associate Banker at Chase, you represent the company’s brand and culture by providing welcoming, attentive service and using banking solutions and financial technology to create positive client experiences. You contribute to branch success by building trusted relationships, sharing product knowledge and solutions, and helping clients work toward their financial goals. The role includes greeting and assisting clients, managing lobby traffic and appointments, handling account servicing and new account openings, helping clients use digital and self-service banking options, and performing branch operations. The position must comply with applicable bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. An employment offer is contingent on JPMorganChase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries, under Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients and provide attentive, friendly service, creating a welcoming branch environment.
- Use a tablet to manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule or cancel client meetings.
- Provide account servicing and maintenance and open new accounts in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
- Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions and technology self-service options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
- Build client relationships by listening actively, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, sharing product knowledge and solutions, and partnering with branch team members.
- Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM, while following bank policies and procedures.
