This role plays a vital role in bringing TD’s human, relationship-driven banking experience to life. As a trusted partner to clients, the role delivers everyday banking and supports consumer product needs by building meaningful relationships with accuracy, confidence, and clarity—helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered to achieve their financial goals while consistently adhering to TD’s risk and regulatory standards. The role combines transactional excellence with the capability to help clients find the right solutions through needs-based engagement. It delivers everyday banking and basic consumer account opening/maintenance while proactively engaging clients in meaningful conversations, helping them understand their options, and connecting them to appropriate partners. The Associate Banker II can serve as the first point of contact for clients, acting as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location, seamlessly guiding traffic flow while delivering a high-touch client experience. They deliver accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities that will help clients reach their financial goals and referring clients to appropriate partners. The role demonstrates broad knowledge of banking products and services to utilize insights, tools and resources to evaluate and recommend client solutions. It engages in inbound and outbound acquisition efforts, accountable for recognizing client needs and initiating appropriate referrals to specialists, acting on deepening client relationships. The Associate Banker II performs and decides a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits. They identify and assess client problems in straightforward situations using standard procedures and escalates non-standard issues internally, typically addressing routine requests requiring minimal discretion. The role can serve as an escalation point as needed.
