About The Position

The Associate Banker II brings TD’s human, relationship-driven banking experience to life by delivering everyday banking and supporting consumer product needs. The role builds meaningful client relationships through accurate, confident, and clear service, helping clients understand their options and connect with appropriate partners while adhering to risk and regulatory standards.

The position combines transactional execution with needs-based client engagement. It may serve as the financial center’s first point of contact and hospitality ambassador, managing client flow and inquiries while completing transactions and basic consumer account opening and maintenance. The Associate Banker II uses knowledge of banking products, services, tools, and resources to identify client needs, recommend solutions, make referrals, support acquisition efforts, and address routine issues. The role also safeguards client relationships through compliant operations, accurate identity verification, data integrity, and escalation of discrepancies or risk indicators.

This is a part-time position scheduled for 30 hours. The listed pay range is $22.00–$27.75 USD per hour. The role may require work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience working with clients; experience may include volunteering, education, or military experience.
• Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely, clearly, and consistently.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work and work independently within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing role or financial institution.
• Notary license.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-person and phone client flow and serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, issue resolution, and referrals.
• Deliver relationship-driven client experiences consistent with TD’s service strategy and act as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center.
• Create personalized interactions that build client trust and strengthen ongoing relationships.
• Complete everyday banking transactions and basic consumer account opening and maintenance accurately and efficiently.
• Educate clients about banking products, services, and digital capabilities, and connect them with specialists as needed.
• Identify client needs and opportunities, recommend appropriate solutions, and make referrals to partners and specialists.
• Conduct proactive outreach, including scheduling appointments for consumer account needs and relationship-deepening opportunities.
• Use sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness to support compliant outcomes.
• Verify client identification, maintain data integrity, and follow authentication, documentation, AML, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential discrepancies, material changes, and risk indicators, and escalate them according to policy and procedure.
• Complete required training and strengthen risk and compliance knowledge.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, share insights and best practices, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in performance and development activities.
• Act in accordance with TD’s code of conduct and ethical standards and protect clients, colleagues, and the Bank.
