About The Position

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for newly barred attorneys or those looking to pivot into Workers' Compensation law. Associates will report directly to a Senior Associate and will be supported by a team of paralegals and support staff. The firm is dedicated to advocating for employees' rights in cases of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage disputes, and workplace injuries, offering top-tier legal representation with a client-focused approach.

Requirements

Must be California State Barred
Must reside in the state of California
Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Responsibilities

Managing a docket of cases to resolution
Preparing clients for depositions
Attending depositions
Invoicing depositions
Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negotiations and moving matters towards resolution
Responding to incoming emails and phone calls
Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
Participation in team events during work and after work hours
Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
