About The Position

Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's rights law firms with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, GA, MO and FL. We are seeking an Associate Attorney who is licensed in South Carolina but will work in our Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC office.

Requirements

Licensed in the State of North Carolina to practice law.
Comfortable appearing in court and the ability to appear on time consistently using your own method of transportation.
Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for a high-volume case load.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Additional licensing in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.

Responsibilities

Correctly prepare, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances that are reasonably within travel distance. Ensure timely and reliable appearance at the given courthouse. May need to travel overnight for certain locations, driving a car is required for some locations.
Review and appropriately request coverage where necessary for all court calls where an Associate will not appear, including the attachment of all necessary documents for the attorney’s appearance as well as any orders necessary for the requested coverage results.
Draft, review, and file any necessary motions during the course of litigation.
Prepare for trials/arbitrations as necessary for the firm, which may include overnight stays in distant counties.
Communicate with consumers, consumer’s employers, and consumer’s attorneys as necessary to resolve accounts/suits.
