About The Position

Kubicki Draper is seeking an associate attorney interested in joining their litigation practice. This role can be based out of any of their Florida offices and will be on a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have stellar academic credentials, strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy. They should have a desire to excel and work their way up the ranks of the law firm, with the ability to provide excellent customer service to clients with a client-first mindset. The candidate must be highly organized, with a clear and concise communication style, and be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals. The candidate must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing.

Requirements

3+ years experience in civil litigation required
Stellar academic credentials
Strong legal research and excellent writing skills
Possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
Ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients, with a client first mindset
Highly organized, with clear and concise communication style
Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
Competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel

Nice To Haves

Experience in Construction Defect Litigation highly desired

Responsibilities

Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
Respond to motions & discovery
Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
