About The Position

Pyatt Silvestri is a Las Vegas law firm with more than 40 years of service to the Nevada community. We represent individuals, businesses, insurers, and self-insured entities throughout Nevada and are known for practical legal solutions, responsive client service, and strong advocacy. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to handle meaningful case work, develop litigation skills, and work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and professional environment. The Associate Attorney will assist with all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, mediation, and trial preparation. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys while managing assigned matters and developing strong client relationships. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the State Bar of Nevada and in good standing.
  • Interest in civil litigation and insurance defense.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned litigation matters under the supervision of partners and senior attorneys.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and insurance representatives.
  • Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and resolution.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and litigation deadlines.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings as needed.
