Associate Attorney – Family Law
About The Position
The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is hiring an Associate Attorney to lead Texas family law matters from intake through final decree, supported by the firm’s marketing, administrative, paralegal, and billing resources. The role focuses on courtroom advocacy and case strategy rather than lead generation or invoice follow-up. The attorney will represent clients in Harris County and surrounding courts, litigate contested divorces, complex SAPCR matters, and protective orders, and provide compassionate, results-driven counsel. The posting also describes experience with family law hearings and estate or guardianship proceedings, as well as drafting pleadings and discovery. The firm describes its structure as “Big Law” with a boutique focus and offers an earned hybrid option.
Requirements
- Valid Texas bar license for at least 2 years.
- At least 2 years of dedicated Texas family law litigation experience.
- Fearless courtroom presence and ability to manage a high-impact docket under pressure.
- Highly organized advocacy skills and experience with family law hearings and estate or guardianship proceedings.
- Experience with initial consultations and drafting pleadings and discovery.
- Proficiency in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, and modern e-filing systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact family law cases from intake to final decree.

- Advise and support clients through difficult circumstances with results-driven, compassionate representation.

- Draft pleadings and discovery.
