About The Position

Aspen Careers is partnering with a respected and expanding estate planning and elder law firm to identify an Associate Attorney for its new Parkersburg, West Virginia office. The role involves playing a key part in launching and growing the firm's new Parkersburg office, working directly with clients on estate planning and elder law matters, and transitioning from high-stress litigation to a client-focused practice. Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
  • 2-3 years of attorney experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and client service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and eagerness to learn a specialized practice area.
  • Comfortable discussing legal services and helping clients move forward with representation.

Nice To Haves

  • Ohio license is a plus.
  • Estate Planning experience is preferred.
  • Attorneys with backgrounds in Family Law, Personal Injury, Probate, Criminal Defense, or related client-facing practice areas are encouraged to apply.
  • Enjoys building relationships and guiding clients through important legal decisions.
