About The Position

Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join their award-winning team. This role offers immediate hands-on experience handling toxic tort and products liability litigation matters, with potential to handle other matters such as general liability, wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, and breach of contract/business disputes. The associate will manage all aspects of cases from inception to resolution, including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery management, arguing motions, and attending mediations and trials. The position involves working with a diverse range of clients and offers opportunities for professional growth through collaboration and mentorship from experienced partners.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment.
• Skilled in conducting legal research.
• Skilled in drafting pleadings and motions.
• Skilled in propounding and responding to discovery.
• Skilled in interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
• Client-focused mindset.
• Passion for achieving successful outcomes.
• Desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Handle toxic tort and products liability litigation matters.
