About The Position

Monteforte Law is an established and growing Massachusetts estate planning, elder law and probate firm seeking an attorney who wants to become an exceptional counselor and advisor to clients. The firm has been helping families for 20 years with decisions about their assets, aging, long-term care, and loved ones. This role is designed for an attorney who wants to grow into greater responsibility, take ownership of client matters, and lead client planning meetings. It is not a position focused solely on drafting documents.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Massachusetts or eligible for prompt admission
• Genuinely enjoy working directly with clients
• Can explain complicated subjects in understandable language
• Want responsibility and the opportunity to earn more of it
• Confident enough to form and express an opinion, but humble enough to be coached
• Instinct to figure things out when something is unknown
• Take ownership of work rather than waiting to be told every next step
• Want to become substantially better at counseling and advising clients
• Care about excellent work and being part of a strong team

Nice To Haves

• Estate planning or elder law experience
• Experience in probate, trusts, tax, real estate, family law, litigation, or another client-facing practice
