Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law school
• Three years of experience as a Commercial Litigation Attorney, with familiarity with Class Action cases or a closely related type of experience.
• Active license to practice law in California in both State and Federal courts.
• Experience and demonstrated proficiency as follows: Three years using E-Discovery and law programs including Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, WestLaw, and Relativity.
• Domestic travel to various locations in U.S. but primarily California - minimum 12 trips /year of 3-5 days duration.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
• Perform legal research.
• Make court appearances as necessary.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
• May direct work of 2 Junior Associates.
