About The Position

The Associate Attorney - Litigation will investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims. This role involves handling a variety of legal matters including personal injury, construction, premises liability, coverage disputes, and bad faith issues. The attorney will be responsible for managing all aspects of litigation, from initial investigation through resolution.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school required
• Active Colorado Bar license required — no exceptions
• Local candidates only — Denver, Colorado area
• 3+ years of litigation experience required
• Strong research and writing skills required
• Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction matters, commercial litigation, or insurance-related litigation preferred

Responsibilities

• Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims
• Handle personal injury, construction, premises liability, coverage disputes, and bad faith matters
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft motions
• Attend court hearings in state and federal courts
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis
• Provide pre-litigation evaluations and client recommendations
