Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Requirements
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably handling matters involving general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes.
- Current admission to the California State Bar.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
- Client-focused mindset.
- Passion for achieving successful outcomes.
Nice To Haves
- Arbitration and/or trial experience.
- Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates.
Responsibilities
- Handling own caseload of litigation matters involving commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims.
- Preparing pleadings.
- Propounding and responding to discovery.
- Drafting motions and legal briefs.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Communicating with clients and opposing counsel.
- Appearing in court.
