About The Position

The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an Associate Athletic Director. This position will oversee the daily operations of the Athletics Compliance office. Georgia State University is a Division I institution and a member of the Sun Belt Conference. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Compliance Officer for Georgia State University Athletics.
  • Coordinate with all athletic programs and their scholarship assignment and limitations.
  • Certify initial eligibility of all student-athletes, determine transfer eligibility, and monitor continuing eligibility.
  • Oversee all aspects of compliance concerning NCAA rules and regulations; interpretations, monitoring recruitment of student-athletes by coaches, and competition requirements.
  • Oversee APR, GSR, and NCAA reports as required.
  • Review and approve all student-athlete Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) transactions via NILGO and CAPS LBi Software; input scholarship and financial aid data; add and approve all revenue share agreements.
  • Hire, train, and supervise compliance staff members and graduate/student assistants.
