About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing all NCAA compliance operations and supporting the administrative functions of the Athletics Department. The role leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive compliance program covering eligibility, recruiting, financial aid, amateurism, and ethical conduct. The position also collaborates across campus to coordinate academic eligibility, reporting, and strategic initiatives while supporting the Director of Athletics in departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in athletics compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of NCAA rules, compliance practices, and reporting requirements
  • Experience with Compliance Assistant Internet (CAi), LSDBi, and NCAA Eligibility Center processes
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all NCAA compliance functions, ensuring adherence to NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations
  • Provide education and guidance to coaches, staff, and student-athletes on compliance rules and expectations
  • Serve as the primary liaison with admissions, financial aid, registrar, and the NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure athlete eligibility and scholarship compliance
  • Monitor recruiting activities, playing and practice seasons, financial aid, and student-athlete participation to maintain compliance standards
  • Identify, investigate, and report potential violations and assist with audits, waivers, and NCAA reporting requirements
  • Coordinate key reports, including EADA, NCAA financial reports, and squad lists
  • Support athletics operations, including postseason planning, budgeting assistance, and departmental administration
  • Lead compliance-related training, documentation, and process improvements
