About The Position

The Associate Analyst, HR Systems evaluates, analyzes, and maintains Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role participates on project teams for system changes, enhancements, and technology implementations. The analyst executes testing according to defined test plans and supports end users with issue resolution. This position contributes to process optimization through automation, scripting, and application of emerging HR technology.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, or analytical roles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze data to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to use online systems and applications (Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, or other SaaS HR systems)
  • Ability to write or execute basic scripts or queries (Python, JavaScript, or similar) or demonstrated interest in developing these skills
  • Strong analytical and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
  • Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field).
  • Familiarity with or interest in automation, AI-assisted workflows, or RPA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HRIS support activities for HR systems, including SAP SuccessFactors (Recruiting/Onboarding), Learning Management, and Case Management systems.
  • Troubleshoot system access and functionality issues; assist end users.
  • Resolve exceptions to standard processes through research or cross-functional consultation.
  • Identify trends in user issues and recommend system or process improvements.
  • Escalate complex issues to HRIS team members as appropriate.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and operations by performing user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain system files and tables affecting access and functionality.
  • Update system configuration based on organizational changes, legal requirements, and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain system configuration and process documentation for HRIS.
  • Support configuration and administration of SAP SuccessFactors modules, primarily Recruiting Management and Onboarding, with increasing focus on platform capabilities.
  • Assist in developing and executing Python scripts for data processing, reporting, and automation of HRIS tasks.
  • Support implementation and ongoing use of AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to robotic process automation (RPA) initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and assisting in solution development.
  • Build foundational knowledge of HRIS integration patterns, including data flows between SAP SuccessFactors and downstream systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).
  • Maintain awareness of emerging HR technologies and identify opportunities to apply new tools and methods.
  • Interface with departments and vendors to identify issues impacting HR systems.
  • Perform audits to ensure proper system usage, access, and data integrity.
  • Review training materials for technical and functional accuracy.
  • Create FAQs and technical documentation for system users.
  • Execute special projects as assigned.
