The Associate Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. This role involves establishing metrics, providing data analyses, and directly supporting business intelligence. The Associate Actuary will evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position. The individual will begin to influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding the technical approach for project components, exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. This position reports to the Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting. Key responsibilities also include ensuring data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around data flow, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost-effective resolutions for business problems.
