Requirements

• CPA or working toward becoming a CPA.
• Must be able to meet the credit requirement for CPA eligibility.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments.
• Assist with creating and requesting checks and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers.
• Prepare household employer payroll tax filings.
• Process electronic filing of tax returns.
• Maintain the tax refunds ledger.
• Review and compare gains and losses.
• Maintain the tax database used to track client deadlines and filings.
• Maintain data in the tax reporting system.
• Print, collate, and mail tax returns to clients.
• Scan and organize electronic tax documents.
• Print and mail notices to the IRS and state agencies.
