About The Position

Salesforce is seeking an Associate Account Partner to join their Professional Services sales team. This role involves identifying customer needs, presenting service offerings, and helping customers achieve success on the Salesforce Platform. The Associate Account Partner will generate pipeline by finding opportunities within the existing customer base, collaborating with license sales teams, and explaining how Salesforce Services can solve customer challenges to maximize their Salesforce investment. The team is looking for ambitious professionals dedicated to customer success in a supportive environment that values integrity and reliability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships at the Director, VP, or C-level where you are recognized as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience navigating complex customer situations within large organizations and gaining executive-level buy-in.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure, with great attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise facilitating meetings and presenting to executive-level audiences in a concise, inspirational, and convincing manner.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience
  • 2+ years of inside or field sales experience
  • Knowledge of business processes (such as Sales, Marketing, Service, and Support) and the ability to link those processes with product and technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce applications, platform features, capabilities, and best use, and/or experience in Communications, Media, Technology, or Consumer Business Services industries.
  • Comfortable with travel
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create new qualified opportunities within the current customer base, progressing deals through a sales cycle to closed won.
  • Engage with the license sales team and customers using a consultative selling approach that positions Salesforce Services as a long-term trusted advisor.
  • Create compelling visions and clearly communicate entry-point service solutions to generate significant business value from a customer's Salesforce investment.
  • Collaborate with business development and core selling teams on account strategy, and partner with the Customer Success ecosystem to ensure customers are optimizing their Salesforce investment.
