About The Position

The Associate Account Manager role requires an individual who is professional and courteous, and who displays drive, determination, pro-activity, and self-motivation. With a positive attitude, the Associate will provide support to Account Executives, & Account Managers. The individual in this position is expected to be pursuing a career in insurance and the position of Account Manager.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
1–2 years of professional experience, insurance, or with a carrier preferred.
Life & Health Insurance License preferred; or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, prospects, and colleagues
Ability to interpret and understand insurance policy forms and coverage details
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while also working effectively with a high degree of autonomy
Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively, while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail
Ability to work in a face paced, rapidly changing environment with flexibility, adaptability, efficiency and organization
Strong MS Office skills, e.g., MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to work in a positive team environment
Above average mathematical skills

Responsibilities

Support the Account Executives and Account Managers to include but not limited to: Photocopying, Printing, Binding, Labeling, Data Entry, Scanning
Process MVRs as per established Agency guidelines
Maintain department reports as request by supervisor
Maintenance of department carrier information and website management
Adhere to all Agency systems, procedures and state regulations
Assume other job responsibilities as requested by supervisor
