About The Position

Postmedia is seeking a driven, coachable, and eager Associate Account Executive to build a long-term career in digital media sales. This role is designed for high-potential sellers who want to develop into full-cycle Account Executives within a high-performance, tech-enabled environment. The focus will be on new business acquisition, supported by SDRs and an AI-powered sales tech stack. This is a 100% remote position, offering freedom to work from anywhere in Canada, with the requirement that candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The company leverages leading-edge AI tools for meeting summaries, automated follow-ups, coaching insights, and administrative task elimination, allowing sales professionals to concentrate on selling and learning. The role operates within a structured pod support model, including SDRs for pipeline generation, Sales Engineers for digital strategy, and Service Delivery for client execution. There is a clear growth path to a full Account Executive position based on consistent performance and mastery of the sales process.

Requirements

  • Motivated by new business acquisition and desire to build mastery in consultative digital sales

  • Experience in sales, lead generation, or client-facing roles
  • Comfortable conducting professional conversations over phone and video

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage new business through outbound outreach, digital engagement, and SDR-supported opportunities
  • Conduct virtual discovery calls to identify client needs and qualify opportunities
  • Present tailored digital advertising solutions across SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Social, and Display
  • Manage a structured pipeline within CRM, maintaining accurate forecasting and activity tracking
  • Leverage AI tools to improve call performance, objection handling, and follow-up efficiency
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue and activity targets
  • Transition qualified opportunities smoothly to internal teams for fulfillment
