The Associate Account Executive (AAE) in the Lunar Program is an elite, high-performance residency designed to develop high-potential sales talent into world-class Enterprise Account Executives. This role involves collaborating with field Account Executives on deals exceeding $1M while independently managing 'Land' opportunities through a partner-led resell motion. The primary objective of this residency is to bridge the gap between business development and full-cycle enterprise sales, equipping former Business Development Representatives (BDRs) with the necessary skills, knowledge, experience, and tools for a successful selling role. Participants are expected to drive new business growth as high-performing Account Executives on the New Business team, independently managing direct and partner-led resell motions. A key aspect of the role is mastering complex sales cycles, which includes identifying and engaging key decision-makers at the world's largest and most complex organizations, and implementing fundamental sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, forecasting, and account planning through real-world interactions and mentorship.
