Requirements

  • Proven ability to prospect, engage, negotiate, and close business deals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, customs brokerage, and supply chain management concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting solutions and creating detailed proposals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop tailored solutions that address client challenges.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms to manage sales pipelines and client data.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, client management, or logistics operations.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted prospecting through cold-calling, networking, and market research to identify potential clients.
  • Schedule and lead virtual or in-person meetings to assess client needs and showcase Mohawk’s offerings.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, customized proposals that demonstrate Mohawk’s value.
  • Meet or exceed established activity metrics, including calls, meetings, and conversion rates, tracked through Salesforce.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts by building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify new opportunities, and deepen partnerships.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless implementation and support for client accounts.
  • Proactively introduce clients to Mohawk’s full range of services to maximize their supply chain potential.
  • Partner with Senior Account Executives, Sales Managers, and operational leadership to align on strategic initiatives and account priorities.
  • Actively contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and strategies to enhance performance.
  • Accurately document all sales activities, client interactions, and account progress in Salesforce.
  • Deliver timely and actionable reports on pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and client feedback.
